Big Chains, Big Score!
Longer chains give bigger scores. To get top ranks in story mode and send your endless mode score through the roof, aim for the longest chains possible! With eight enemies on screen, you'll get more points for making a seven chain and a one chain than two four chains.
But never forget you can mix it up! When you're under pressure you can drop back to three chains or less, then ramp it back up once the danger's passed. Being able to quickly shift tactics is the key to a long and profitable life in Magic Chain!
Master the Panic Spell
The panic move is performed by shaking the device. It will clear the screen of enemies, but give you minimum points. Its best for extracting you from a sticky situation, and it's also the only way to save yourself from a chain that you know won't finish in time, so keep them until you need them!

You get one per level in Story Mode, but are able to earn them as you play in Endless Mode.
Winding Enemies
Enemies that move in a spiral can be wound to catch them in the spell more easily. When an enemy is moving clockwise, add them to the chain in an anti-clockwise order, and visa versa!
This sort of chain construction can be the difference between getting a seven chain and not getting a chain at all! Once you get the hang of it, you can even use winding to mix enemy types more efficiently.
